I’m Cara, (care-uh, not car-uh). I’m a Scorpio and I’m from New York. I have kept journals my entire life, so I view this blog as an pseudo-extension of that practice.

Right now, I’m a graduate student studying journalism and publishing. I have a lot of opinions and I enjoy the process of writing, designing, and sharing them.

My biggest fears are heights and whales. I want to go to space before I die (not involving Elon Musk) and I have a cat named Missy.

Ironically Candid is place for me to publish my writing online (duh). This blog was created on a whim in 2021 or 2022 with no intentions of being published. I posted one thing (which is still up), played with themes, picked a name, then ignored it for four years.

Now I write about whatever i want- mostly culture and feelings. New York culture, human culture – she’s an emotional bitch, you know?

Essentially, I’m creating the blog I want to see in the world.
